Newcastle Anglican (the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle) is a geographical area within the Anglican Church of Australia, covering the Hunter Region and parts of the Mid North Coast and Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. The diocese is headed by Episcopal Bishop, Right Rev Dr Peter Stuart, who is responsible for overseeing the spiritual and administrative affairs of the diocese. Newcastle Anglican is made up of around 90 parishes, one of which is Muswellbrook, each with its own church and community.

The diocese is committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ and making a positive impact in the communities it serves through its various programs and initiatives such as youth groups, missions, pastoral care, and social justice initiatives. The Diocese is also committed to traditional Anglican worship and theology, and it is known for its strong commitment to evangelism and outreach. It also has a strong focus on supporting and growing the indigenous community and is actively working to build stronger and more meaningful relationships with local indigenous communities.
