Muswellbrook Anglican is a vibrant and welcoming community of followers of Jesus who come together to worship God, grow in faith, and serve our local communities.
Let us Pray…
God our Father, as we gather in your house to eat at your table this week, may we be a family defined by its kindness towards everyone.
Forgive us when we mix up place and people, and think that church is merely somewhere we go, rather than a family that we belong to.
Jesus, we pray for those who are lonely or on the margins and especially for those who will be attending church for the first time, or the last time.
May they find themselves noticed and loved.
And for those who are nowhere near a church gathering this week, send us out to bring the prodigals home.
Holy Spirit, revive your church. Form us into the most welcoming and diverse community on earth that the world may see your love,
believe in your mercy, and receive your invitation home. Amen.
